Award Winning Live Music Venue !

Acoustic & Forest Folk Club

The Forest’s only Folk and Acoustic club now has its home at the Miners Arms, Whitecroft. near Lydney. This is truly the best venue the club has ever had; the function room has great acoustics, a proper platform stage and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We have our sessions on a Sunday evening, the first and third Sundays in each month instead of our usual Fridays. Doors will open at 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start, half an hour earlier than before in order to have an earlier finish.

Our 2010 line up of guests is amazing and for the 1st half of the year includes, Coda, Pete Morton, Trio Threlfall, HungryTown(from the USA) and Bob Fox a true music lover’s extravaganza!

We welcome floor spots, and especially want to encourage new acts to our “singers’ nights”, where they can be assured of a warm welcome and an attentive and appreciative audience.
