Open Mic Night

The Miners Music Club presents a fortnightly 'Open Mic Night' every other Friday (see upcoming events). Professional and amateur singers and songwriters from all over Gloucestershire and (across the border!) come to share new and old songs.

The night is regarded as one of the best in the Forest and is always a packed house with those who want to play and those who want to listen, soak up the atmosphere (and beer!)

We are lucky enough to have Bob Smith (Gloucestershire songwriter of the year 2008) as our host. Bob is well respected as a writer, performer and champion of the Forest and all that is good about it.

The night gets going about 9pm but we recommend you get in early and find a spot. It takes place in the conservatory.

Artists looking to play at the Miners (we have live music every Saturday Night) can come along on a Friday and show us what they can do!
