Food in the Miners
We serve food everyday The Miners is known for good quality, tasty food at reasonable prices.
Regulars always ask for the specials board to see if Mario has one of his Greek dishes such as Stifado, Souvlakia (kebabs) or Vineleaves on the go. Other popular specials are bacon wrapped faggots, fish and chips and cottage pie.
Sweets are on the dessert board and generally involve lashings of custard, bread pudding, spotted dick, ice cream sundaes .... get the idea !
We also have lighter bites including home baked baguettes and Jackets with home-made ham. Salads and daily specials including fresh fish! Come see us to get the full picture!
Catering & Functions
We will try and cater for all tastes and dietry requirements where possible.
We use local produce where possible.
Advance booking is recommended especially for Sunday lunch.
In the function room we can cater for up to 50 seated guests (table service).
Buffets for up to 150 start from £8 a head with no booking charge for the function room.
The room is ideal for family / friends skittles parties.
All celebrations catered for.
