Well behaved dogs are welcome in the pub and cottage. Owners Mario & Karen fell in love with the pub as soon as they arrived in April 2007. Since then they have worked hard to make The Miners Arms a friendly, welcoming pub that is now established among locals as a valued and well supported hostelry. They come to eat, drink enjoy regular live entertainment. It is also one of those places that tourists are delighted to discover and come back time and time again.
Mario and Karen are hands on in the Kitchen along-side Antony the chef as well being seen front of house (especially Mario!). The restaurant offers pub favourites with a cypriot twist, something for everyone. Mario regularly demonstrates cooking techniques at forest food fayres. They hope to start cookery classes in the near future.
The Miners is known for supporting live music and is home to the forest Jazz, Blues and folk clubs as well as putting on live music and open mic nights.
