The Miners Arms is friendly local free house pub with front and rear beer gardens and a dedicated heated timber-frame and slate roof smoking shelter that is a big hit with locals and visitors alike. It boasts a dining conservatory and a recently completed patio area ideal for BBQ parties! The Miners is a picturesque inn where there’s always something going on.

You're also sure of a friendly welcome from owners Mario & Karen who fell in love with the pub as soon as they saw and bought it in April 2007. Since then they have worked really hard to make The Miners Arms a friendly, welcoming pub that has become popular with locals who eat, drink enjoy regular entertainment and socialise. The Miners is at the centre of the community. Meetings and celebrations from diverse groups are held there. It is a place where locals can meet and catch-up on all the gossip!  The Miners is one of those places that tourists are delighted to discover and come back time and time again.

The conservatory acts as a dining room, function room as well as venue for live music every Saturday night. Cameras connected to a big screen in the main bar mean that entertainment can be enjoyed in all rooms!

Traditional open fires make the inn really cosy and the friendly and welcoming atmosphere can be felt as soon as you enter the pub. 

Regular live music and family events, a clean pub with great beers, ales and food as well as a welcoming team have contributed to make The Miners Arms a destination pub at the gateway to the beautiful Royal Forest Of Dean.
